Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy for Onroadz Guwahati
General Requirements & Usage
- Eligibility: Minimum age 23 with a valid driving license. Minors must rent via a parent/guardian.
- North East Residents: Employment ID or Business Documents are strictly required.
- Required Documents:
- Valid driving license by Government of India.
- Original DL and Voter/Aadhaar/Passport must be submitted upon delivery.
- Booking voided if identity is not verified.
- Rental Duration: Rental is counted in 24-hour cycles. Extra hour is calculated as (Daily Rent / 12). Over 3 extra hours equals a full day charge.
- Extensions: Extend only if the vehicle is available—contact us ahead of time.
- Fuel Policy: Return with the same fuel level. Shortfall will be charged per mileage; there are no refunds for excess fuel.
- Tolls & FASTag: You must recharge the FASTag for tolls. No refunds are provided on excess recharge.
- Cleanliness: Clean interiors are included. A penalty of ₹500 applies for tobacco spit, damage, or leftover trash.
Payments & Deposit Policy
Full payment must be made at trip start via UPI, netbanking, or card. Reservation is unconfirmed until payment succeeds.
No deposit is required if originals of Voter ID, Passport, or DL are submitted.
Otherwise: ₹5,000 for Hatchback/Sedan; ₹7,000 for SUVs/MUVs.
Limits, Mileage & Delivery Charges
Kilometer Limit: There is a 300 km/day allowance. Extra charges apply as per the table below:

Pickup & Drop Options
- Office pickup/drop is free. Other locations incur charges.
- Delays due to traffic or weather are not covered.

Insurance & Accidental Liability
24/7 Breakdown Assistance is provided, but excludes damage from negligence (clutch, puncture, glass, etc.).
Liability Without Protection Plan:
- Hatchbacks: ₹50,000
- SUVs: ₹60,000
Rental Insurance (RIPP):
- Liability capped at ₹30,000 for hatchbacks, ₹50,000 for SUVs (as assessed by dealer).
- In total loss events, customer bears EMI + 10% until claim is processed (EMI + 20% without RIPP).
1. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
2. Driving in a reckless or careless manner leading to substantial damage.
3. Using the vehicle for off-road travel, competitive racing, or unauthorized activity.
4. Using a suspended, invalid, or fraudulent Driving License.
Fines & Penalties
- Overspeeding: Speeds above 110 km/h will attract a ₹1,000 fine.
- Intoxication: Returning the car drunk results in full damage liability.
- Alcohol Consumption: Drinking inside the vehicle incurs a ₹1,000 penalty.
- Traffic Challans: All challans received during the rental period are the renter’s absolute responsibility.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
We strive to provide a seamless booking experience. Please review our terms regarding refunds and cancellations below:
- Booking Cancellations: The token or advance booking amount is non-refundable if the customer decides to cancel the booking for any reason.
- No-Shows: Failure to pick up the vehicle at the designated time without prior communication will be treated as a no-show, resulting in a 0% refund.
- Security Deposit Refunds: Eligible security deposit refunds are processed after the vehicle is returned and inspected. Please allow 5–7 working days for the amount to reflect in your original payment method.
- Early Returns: No refunds or partial adjustments will be issued if you choose to return the rented vehicle earlier than the booked date and time.

This section outlines how we handle the gathering, utilization, and revelation of your information while utilizing our services.
Personal & Usage Data
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:
- Driving License Number
- Email address & Phone number
- First name and last name
- Address, State, ZIP/Postal code, City
We automatically collect Usage Data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and diagnostic data) when accessing the website.
Use of Your Personal Data
- Service Maintenance & Compliance: To undertake the purchase contract for the services You have purchased and monitor usage.
- Communication: We may reach out through email, phone calls, or SMS to provide updates, information, and security-related messages.
- Legal Disclosure: We may disclose Your Personal Data in good faith to comply with a legal obligation, protect company rights, or prevent wrongdoing.
